The firm designed and managed the planning and construction coordination for a technical equipment center for this private vacation property.
The data center provided for all the technical systems of the facility including IT, telecommunications, audio/video, and security. In addition to providing technical support for the local facility, the equipment center needed to integrate with the owner's other facilities around the country.
Our office developed the innovative approach to cool the data center by using the near-by large swimming pool on the property. Energy is saved by taking the excess heat from the data center and moving it into the pool through a simple heat pump and heat exchanger.
